“BE USEFUL!” was Paula Defensor Knack’s immediate response to pop star Leah Navarro’s jibes against President Rodrigo Duterte.

Navarro tweeted on May 23, 2017, following the terrorist attack on Marawi City, Lanao del Sur by Maute group who are linked with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), where she called out Duterte for being in Russia while people in Marawi are under assault.

“When the people of Marawi need him most, NASAAN ANG PANGULO? Akala ko mahal niya ang Mindanao. Ayan, puno ng terorista,” Navarro said.

Knack retorts that if Navarro is so concerned then “WHY DON’T YOU WATCH OVER MINDANAO”.

She pointed out that the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) are fully capable of putting the situation under control, thus, instead of pinning blames on the President, Navarro should trust the might of the military.

Knack even cited that during former President Benigno Aquino III’s term, his response to the Mamasapano massacre ended up with 44 Special Action Force (SAF) members dead.

In Duterte’s term, Knack assured that his generals know how to handle the current crisis.

In her full post on Facebook, Knack said,

"BE USEFUL ! ..... While the President is on official visit trying to close billions worth of trade and investments as well as securing military equipment, WHY DONT YOU WATCH OVER MINDANAO dahil parang mas magaling ka pa sa ating mga experienced generals sa AFP !

Have you forgotten how great your Yellow President Aquino was ?I clearly remember Aquino giving orders in Mamapasano. Instead na ang terrorists ang matalo, ating SAF 44 ang na-masaker. Kaya, whether or not andito ang Pangulo, sigurado kami ang kanyang generals hindi tatanga tanga gaya ni Aquino !"
