After Atty. Jude Sabio raised a crimes against humanity case against President Rodrigo Duterte in the International Criminal Court (ICC), a Duterte supporter intends to raise the same case against prominent Yellow figures Benigno Aquino III, Mar Roxas, and Dinky Soliman.

Mark Lopez, vocal critic of the Yellows and a strong supporter of Duterte, intends to file a case against the likes of Aquino and Roxas on grounds of “mishandling of Typhoon Yolanda, where thousands of Filipinos who died in the aftermath were unaccounted and were completely disregarded.”

Donations and aids around the world were sent in to help the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda get through the days after the calamity, however, “massive misuse of public and private funds intended for the victims” were reported and witnessed.

Lopez enumerated the expansive coverage of the misuse of funds and asserted that a mere liquidation of the funds would show its misuse.

“The documentation and audit are more than enough, as well as actual proof of neglect, of abandonment, of shabby treatment, and epic failure in providing relief to the hundreds of thousands of victims and their families,” Lopez said.

He confidently claims that the crimes of the Yellows “can fill more than 77 pages”.

As of posting time, Lopez is seeking lawyers who would help file the case.

In his full post on Facebook, Lopez said,

"THE REAL CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY

I want to file a case of crime against humanity against BS Aquino III, Mar Roxas and Dinky Soliman for their mishandling of Typhoon Yolanda, where thousands of Filipinos who died in the aftermath were unaccounted and were completely disregarded.

Aside from the colossal ineptitude in disaster management 4 years ago and which until now said ineptitude is seen, felt and experienced, there was the massive misuse of public and private funds intended for the victims.

There are numerous recorded accounts of the crime, especially in international media (hello Anderson Cooper). The documentation and audit are more than enough, as well as actual proof of neglect, of abandonment, of shabby treatment, and epic failure in providing relief to the hundreds of thousands of victims and their families.

These can fill more than 77 pages.

And there are videos too ("You are a Romualdez...")

Now I want to go straight to the International Criminal Court or ICC because there is already a precedent.

Any lawyer out there willing to help me file the case?

And in the interest of fairness and balanced news coverage, I hope the New York Times, Time, The Guardian, Rappler, Philippine Daily inquirer, ABS CBN News and Mareng Winnie will prominently feature this case. 😆

Plus I am also praying that the CBCP will also assist here."
