The late Jesse linked to illegal drugs, Aquino used Jesse’s death for his agenda - WAC
In the series of Naga Leaks that was released by the anonymously ran blog We Are Collective (WAC), another of their expose has allegedly linked the late former Naga City Mayor Jesse Robredo to the illegal drug trade, husband of Vice President Leni Robredo.
WAC posted excerpts of the intrigue on their Facebook page which started with the narrative of Jesse’s sibling who was a prominent drug lord in Naga City. Some time in August 2012, Jesse went to Cebu to attend an event of the Philippine National Police (PNP), but was actually there to collect drug money on his sibling’s behalf. Jesse then flew back to Naga but never arrived because his plane crashed.
Former President Benigno Aquino III and Manuel Roxas II were said to have panicked over the incident because when Jesse’s plane crashed, so did the drug money. The tandem silenced witnesses and paid media so as not to have any of these information publicized, as WAC reported.
It was also the drug money issue that prompted Aquino and Roxas to enter Jesse’s condo in Lansbergh Place. Leni, on the other hand, was silent about that incident.
The Liberal Party then was able to put up a strategic Public Relations (PR) branding of Jesse as a “saint”, as WAC described, and this was pivotal to Aquino’s future agenda with the appointment of Maria Lourdes Sereno as Chief of Justice despite Sereno’s only recent appointment to Associate Justice that time and with many other colleagues of hers that were more senior and experienced.
However, as the media focused on Jesse’s life story and achievements in Naga City, Aquino appointed Sereno as Chief of Justice because she was an ally who was the sole dissenting opinion on the issue of the Hacienda Luisitia ruling of then Chief Justice Renato Corona, the same ruling that costed Corona his position, as WAC reported.
With Sereno as Chief Justice, Aquino that time finally had control over the judicial branch of the government.
WAC left ponderous remarks in their post, claiming that politics is deeper than what we see in mainstream media and that more happenings go about behind the scenes.
“In the end we tend to believe what they want us to believe, while the truth remains buried,” wrote WAC as they urged the public to share and spread the truth about the plane crash incident of Jesse.
