Laywer on Leni Robredo: 'It is time for her to go.'
By: Ahmedy Paglinawan
Vice-President Leni Robredo is not under any criminal indictment. At the moment, she is free to speak and to express her opinions on any matter and issue. Her mobility within and without the country is neither stifled nor absolutely prohibited. She has been and still is a free citizen of this country.

This country is under a de jure government. Its administration is functioning in Constitutional normalcy. The Legislature is in tact. The Judiciary is up and independent. Martial Law is not in effect.
WHY THEN IS LENI ROBREDO SPEAKING TO INTERNATIONAL MEDIA AND TRIBUNALS ABOUT THIS COUNTRY AND THIS GOVERNMENT AS IF IT WERE A NATION RULED BY IDI AMIN OR MUAMMAR GADDAFI, AND AS IF SHE WERE AUNG SAN SUU KYI?
She can go to all sorts of legal forums, courts and processes within the jurisdiction of this country. The laws are available to her for the redress of whatever are her problems and complaints. The mainstream media are in fact on her side. So why speak to other nations in mountains and mountains of lies?
Ah, the resort of the intellectually inept and the ethically impoverished.
The people's answer is a resounding this:
The resort to international forums and the ICC to seek international intervention in the affairs of a Sovereign State under a de jure government serves no other legal purpose than to malign, misrepresent and destroy the image and reputation of the nation and its citizens in the eyes of the international community. It is egotistically manipulative. It reeks of the intentional misrepresentation of verifiable facts and the concealment of material truth. And all for no legally viable objective or excuse but to effect an international interventionist regime change in a country existing under LAW.
It is time for her to go.
