“What a ridiculous thing to say, It's not that case at all. It's just that 12 million Filipinos are sick of drugs addicts and the crimes committed by those dependent on drugs,” posted Conlan on Facebook last February 26, 2017 (Sunday), the day after the EDSA People Power celebration sparked protests and demonstrations for Filipinos worldwide.

Conlan emphasized that at least 500,000 have sought aid and assistance after giving up illegal drug use, a feat that has helped decrease the crime incidences in the country.

“President Rodrigo Duterte is a brave man, who wants to tackle the real issues like poverty, crime and corruption,” Conlan praised, “thank you Mr President for helping to make the Philippines a better, safer country for my family and for encouraging investment into the Philippines through your very worthwhile overseas trips.”

Despite being a foreigner, Conlan has been vocal and pro-active in supporting President Rodrigo Duterte in all his platforms that has forwarded Filipinos to better lives.

"I have just been informed that it has been claimed by some that supporters of President Duterte are somehow less educated???
What a ridiculous thing to say, It's not that case at all. It's just that 12 million Filipinos are sick of drugs addicts and the crimes committed by those dependent on drugs.

Before Rodrigo Duterte came to power, it was estimated that there were several million Filipinos addicted, now at least half a million have sought help and given up drugs. Crime is down, the Philippines feels much safer now.

President Rodrigo Duterte is a brave man, who wants to tackle the real issues like poverty, crime and corruption. Thank you Mr President for helping to make the Philippines a better, safer country for my family and for encouraging investment into the Philippines through your very worthwhile overseas trips.

I very much hope to be able to shake your hand Sir and thank you personally for what you are doing for us all. It would be the greatest honour of my life.

God Bless President Duterte and God bless and protect the Filipino people 🇵🇭❤👊👊👊👊"
