Possible coup against Duterte looms, says former Presidential Assistant for Economic Affairs
A warning against a coup threat to the Duterte administration is going viral online drawing out statements from various netizens that President Rodrigo Duterte and his Cabinet members must keep safe in Davao.
“It is absolutely imperative the president remains in Davao,” a statement from Former Presidential Assistant for Economic Affairs Jose Alejandrino, as a looming danger draws close for the current administration, “cabinet members must be ready to move to Davao.”
These anti-Duterte coup conspirators are said to have “drawn up a list of people to be arrested” putting the nation at careful guard of its own people and lands.
While the coup is not positively confirmed, precautions are to be taken, “contingency plans must be taken to secure NCR in case the worst should happen.”
The full post of Jose Alejandrino which was posted by netizen Vivian Velez reads,
"Ano kayang 5 star hotel ang madidisgrasya this time?
From Jose Alejandrino just now:
TO ALL DUTERTISTAS
It is absolutely imperative the president remains in Davao. The coup plotters have drawn up a list of people to be arrested. Cabinet members must be ready to move to Davao. These are simple precautions to take while coup reports are being investigated.
The Trump government will not sanction a coup. But contingency plans must be taken to secure NCR in case the worst should happen.
We must always be prepared for the worst. The people must be ready to rally massively in support of the president and give him revolutionary powers to deal with extraordinary situations. I anticipate this will only be the beginning.
Please share to all."
