Sen. Gordon slams Noynoy over Mamasapano tragedy
Wednesday, Senator Richard Gordon slammed former President Benigno Aquino III over Mamasapano tragedy.

In a privilege speech, Gordon said the Senate justice committee which is willing to reopen the case into the killings.
"Ibalik niyo na lang sa amin sa committee on justice. Mas marami pa tayong magagawa para sa katarungan," Gordon said.
Gordon accused Aquino of "tampering the chain of command" when he allowed former police chief Alan Purisima who is suspended at that time to take command.
He said that Aquino did not do everything he can to save the lives of the SAF troopers.
"Tumawag ba ang pangulo ng saklolo sa Air Force? Ginamit ba niya?" Gordon said.
He also criticized Aquino for supposedly prioritizing the peace process with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
"Political expediency ba yan? Mas mahalaga ba peace process kesa sa buhay nung mga tao?" Gordon said.
Meanwhile, Senator Sonny Angara said the Senate will work on improving the police force's capabilities.
"It is our role to make all our men fighting the enemy are no longer blind like the SAF 44. The focus is to make the institution better, making our men better equipped," Angara said.
Senator Grace Poe also gave her opinion.
"Ang pagbibigay ng tamang suporta sa ating mga pulis sa kanilang equipment, sa kanilang sweldo at kanilang mga mahal sa buhay," said Poe.
