Wala akong alam diyan! Robredo denies joining ‘oust Duterte’ efforts, rallies
Vice President Leni Robredo denied the allegations of her involvement to oust President Rodrigo Duterte.
“I categorically deny joining rallies that called for the President’s ouster,” she said.
She said, just like Duterte, she made an oath to follow the Constitution and take it seriously.
She also said that her opposition to some government policies should not be considered as part of plans to unseat Duterte.
“It is the right of every citizen in our democracy to express her opinion, and this includes those critical of or in opposition to an incumbent government. This principle is a cornerstone of our free Republic,” Robredo added.
During the interview of ABS-CBN News to Duterte yesterday, Dec. 29, he said that he felt uncomfortable with Robredo because of her involvement to oust him.

“Ngayon nandiyan siya (Robredo), oust Duterte. Kinabukasan, kaharap ko siya sa Cabinet meeting, for example, or a day or two weeks after. Don’t you think it’s the height of incongruity to be facing somebody, to be there at the same time to be here?” he said.
“Kung statement, the burial, pero kung pumupunta siya, nandoon pa si Roxas or the yellow. Eh ang yelo kasi sa probinsiya, ice eh. Eh matagal nang natunaw ‘yan. Wala akong magawa eh. So, her ouster from the Cabinet, from that time on, became a fait accompli,” he said.
