According to Abs-Cbn, the 16 year old student was identified as Kenneth Velasco.
Velasco was announced dead on arrival in the Baguio General Hospital after being rushed by residents who found his bloody body lying near a public high school located in Brgy. Labsan.
Dr. Haywood Fernandez of Baguio General Hospital said that Velasco suffered 40 stab wounds to the nape, neck, chest and other parts of the body.
Baka maliit na knife or ice pick yung ginamit," Dr. Fernandez said.
According to the mother of the victim, Claire Velasco, he was a hardworking student who had no gang or frat activities.
