This happened when Dela Rosa refused to disclosed who asked him for the reinstatement of Supt. Marvin Marcos.
“Bakit hindi ninyo kaagad sinabi sa amin at sa publiko na ‘yung nag-utos sa inyo ay mismong ang Pangulong Duterte? Nagpaikot-ikot ka pa eh. Kumpare, ganyan ganyan,” De Lima said.
“We are trained not to divulge. Alangan naman sabihin ko kaagad, may rason si Presidente bakit niya pina-reinstate,” Dela Rosa replied.
Earlier, Dela Rosa said that is was his "kumpare from Malacañang who asked to reinstate the head of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Region 8 Marvin Marcos.
On the other hand, De Lima revealed that it was Christopher “Bong” Go the Special Assistant of the President who called Dela Rosa.
However, Dela Rosa denied what De Lima said and even dared her to name her source.
Meanwhile, President Rodrigo Duterte said that it was him who instructed "Bong" Go to call Dela Rosa.

“Kung maipit, sasabihin ko. Magpalit tayo ng position your honor, ikaw maging chief PNP kung kaya mo,” Dela Rosa told De Lima.
