“Hindi yun mamamatay. Ako bahala,” the PNP chief said.
Mayor Rolanda was killed after allegedly resisting arrest at the Baybay, Leyte sub-provincial jail last November 5.
Dela Rosa said he took full responsibility for the operation of the operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) who killed Mayar Espinosa and assured that Kerwin would be given appropriate security.
Dela Rosa said the Kerwin will be detained at the PNP Custodial Center at Camp Crame.
“Crame, sa detention ng Crame,” he told reporters.
