Secretary Andanar to critics: Instead of criticizing us, help us
Friday, October 7, Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said to the international organization to help the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte on its campaign against illegal drugs.
"If you are really our friend, help us," Andanar said.
Andanar is referring to the latest message of Duterte to the United States and the European Union, to pull out their aid from the Philippines if they could not understand the deepness drug problem in our country.
"The President is saying that we have a reform policy, we have our own problems, internal problems in the country, na dapat instead of criticizing us, help us," Andanar said.
Andanar also said that based on the information provided by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), there are 4 million drug users in the country, the government is addressing the drug problem despite its limited resources.
"Alam naman ng mga kaibigan nating bansa na wala tayong pera para sa rehabilitasyon ng ating mga kababayan na lulong sa droga, at kailangan natin ng malaking pondo doon," Andanar said.

"Alam naman natin na pumasok iyong Pangulo natin midstream, at wala pong pondo na nakalaan para sa mga proyekto o prayoridad ng ating Pangulo" he added.
"Kung may mga problema naman ang ibang bansa hindi naman tayo nakikialam. Kung wala kang masabing maayos, huwag ka na lang magsalita. Ngayon, kung wala ka namang maitutulong, tumahimik ka na lang. Ganoon lang naman iyon kasimple."
