Isidro called Duterte a “psychopath” which angered the netizens specially those who support him.

“Unang-una, walang umaaway sa iyo. As a matter of fact, ikaw ang nang-aaway.

Pangalawa, ‘yung bansa kung saan ka iniluklok ng 16 million out of 100+ million people ay Third World.. “At excuse me, ayaw namin magutom. Mag-isa ka na lang. Wag kang mandamay.

“Pangatlo, may kilala akong psychiatrist. Patingin ka. Hindi ka bipolar. You are a psychopath."

The actress is referring to the statement of Duterte against United Nations (UN) and European Union (EU) to withdraw their aid to the Philippines.

“If you think it is high time for you guys to withdraw your assistance, go ahead…We will not beg for it. We have a problem here trying to preserve our society,” Duterte said.

"Maski magkahirap dito, we will survive. And I'll be the first one to go hungry and the first the one to die. Huwag kayong mag-alala. We'll never never compromise our dignity as a Filipino," Duterte added.

Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella responded to the controversial remarks of Isidro saying the actress was entitled to her own opinion.

"We need to really hear what the President is calling Filipinos to do, which is be free from dependence on foreign aid, which is what the lady is fearful we will lose.” Abella said.

“The President is calling for Filipinos to be truly independent economically and mentally and psychologically,” Abella added.

Meanwhile, Isidro’s post has more than 6,100 shares and more than 18,000 reaction.

Kayang kaya nating maging independent basta walang corruption!
Tanong ko lang sayo ms agot isidro: ang magagandang nagawa ng panglo for 100 days at ang paglaban sa drugs, crimes and corruption ay gawain ba ng isang psychopath?

  3. Agot Isidro wants the pilipino people to stay scratching the back of the imperialist and to let the pilipino unable to stay on its own feet.

  5. Japan was occupied by the US after WW2. In 1950 the Philippines had the second largest economy in Asia. Japan used American aid and took off. South Korea did the same. The Philippines has lost status since. The Philippines has had decade after decade of opportunity to stand on its own feet.
