Catholic Church and TESDA launch rehab programs for drug users
The war on drugs launched by the Administration of President Rodrigo Duterte took a lot of lives, either due to police operations on vigilante killings.

Manila Archishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) launched a rehabilitation program called "‘Sanlakbay Para sa Pagbabagong Buhay" for drug users.
“Sa pagtutulungan po nating lahat harinawa ay makatulong upang ang nagkapatid ay ma-restore, maging matuwid," Cardinal Tagle said.
Drug users will also be given activities that will help them change their lifestyle and habits.
“At ang ikatlomga kapatid ay ang pangkabuhayan o skills training,” saib by Fr. Roberto dela Cruz during the mass.
The Diocese of Manila assigned churches in Pasay, Makati, Mandaluyong, and San Juan to welcome all drugs users who wants to be under the Sanlakbay program.
TESDA will also offer courses like automotive, maritime, information technology, food and beverage servicing, carpentry and anc cosmetology to all drugs users who wants to study.

Luz Victoria Amponin, Executive Director of the Partnership and Linkages Office of TESDA said,
“Lahat ng mamamayang Pilipino, lalo na yung ating nakakalungkot mang sabihin, and ating mga drug dependents, magkaroon ng skill upang sila ay makapagtrabaho,”
